Grosset and Dunlap Duotone Dust Jackets The second dust jacket design uses the glossy frontispiece illustration of each volume for the cover art. The illustrations are touched up with color to make them more attractive. This style of dust jacket is also extremely scarce and difficult to acquire in any condition. All seven books were printed with this style of dust jacket. |

World Syndicate and Goldsmith Dust Jackets The World Syndicate and Goldsmith reprints use the identical dust jacket art for all seven volumes in the series. The spine of the dust jackets was likely white when new and is now an unattractive off-white or gray or brown color. These jackets were not printed on good quality paper and have a good amount of foxing and soiling. |
