Trixie Belden Square Paperback Editions

Wth the publication of volume 35 in 1984, the cover design changed for the Trixie Belden series. This style is referred to as the "square" paperback edition because the cover art is contained within a mostly square shape, rather than the previous oval edition. Volumes 35 through 39 were only printed in the square edition and are the most difficult to acquire volumes in the Trixie Belden series. Selected titles from volumes 1 through 34 were reprinted in the square format. The remaining titles went out of print when the series changed to the square format and were not available in this style. The titles that were reprinted in the square format were only available for two years from 1984 through 1986 and are much harder to find than the oval printings.
